This is a spinoff of bug #10685

There is a NullPointer in Eclipse Mars described in the previous bug. The issue does not appear in Eclipse Neon but needs to be documented for SDK Manual 2.2

This issue comes from upstream but it is unlikely that it will be solved in Mars since Eclipse Neon already works. The workaround has been documented in the wiki, but needs to be documented in SDK Manual too. Here is the documentation that was added to the wiki:

Hi, 

I am assuming that the nullpointer issue comes up right when you first try to launch Eclipse.  I have put a note in at the top of the appendix here - http://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/2.3/sdk-manual/sdk-manual.html#mars-installing-eclipse-ide.  Please look it over and let me know if there are any problems with the note or if it needs anything else.

I don't own this but if all that is left is this documentation fix, which is in, can we set it to RESOLVED yet?
