The phenomenon is same as bug 308 and bug 447. When I click terminal icon in sugarbay image, keyboard will pop up with terminal.

Reproduce Steps:
1. Download sugarbay images from autobuilder
2. Burn it into sugarbay and boot up
3. Click terminal icon

This one is likely related to the layering causing issues with things like 1072 and 1100. To be investigated in conjunction with those.
Comment 2 Jiajun Xu 2011-05-31 01:57:23 UTC
Update the bug, with Yocto 1.1 M1 RC2 build, all BSP targets(sugarbay, emenlow, blacksand, crownbay) will meet the issue.

Does anything suggest this is x86_64 specific? This doesn't happen on the MIPS RSP?
Comment 4 Saul Wold 2011-05-31 09:05:18 UTC
Any updates on this since the layer issue has been fixed?

There is no this issue on qemuarm and qemumips.

For routerstationpro and beagleboard, they don't have X desktop now.

Is this still an issue with the sugarbay?

Hi Saul,
With Yocto 1.1 M1 RC2 build, the issue happens on all intel BSPs(sugarbay, emenlow, blacksand, crownbay).

Darren to perform initial investigation and assign to Tom or bounce back to Saul.

Emenlow/Blacksand/Sugarbay/Qemux86-sato is ok in Yocto 1.1 20110617 build.

Verify this bug.
