Description Juro Bystricky 2017-02-24 23:01:48 UTC
Running Build Appliance built with master 3c83b56309ab419f8cda72c0711479f60f61439a

Generates this sanity.bbclass error:

OE-core's config sanity checker detected a potential misconfiguration.
Either fix the cause of this error or at your own risk disable the checker (see sanity.conf).
Following is the list of potential problems / advisories:

Error, /bin/sh links to /bin/bash.bash, must be dash or bash

This seems to be a direct consequence of:

0b040f9534ea7530112709eacd299f7313eef380:bash: use update-alternatives for the bash binary

Fixing the sanity.bbclass will be only of limited usage, as this would have to be backported. (Because for building with Toaster can select a previous distro such as "morty")
Comment 1 Juro Bystricky 2017-03-09 13:14:28 UTC
The consensus is to modify sanity.bbclass test to be less restrictive.
The modifications need to be back-ported to morty and krogoth as well.
