Description Joshua Lock 2017-03-17 15:16:12 UTC
Locale and Timezone settings of a shell in which builds are performed can affect the build output in various ways[1][2], adding non-determinism to the system when building on machines with different TZ settings.

We should export a consistent TZ and locale to the environment in which builds are performed in order to improve the determinism of our build output.

Incremental progress. Moving to 2.5 M1

Patch sent to the ML:https://patchwork.openembedded.org/patch/143060/

This being an enhancement, it is unlikely to be merged in 2.4M4, so moving to 2.5M1
