Description Phil Wise 2017-03-20 09:05:39 UTC
The git commit referenced in meta/recipes-devtools/file/file_5.28.bb doesn't appear in the git history of upstream any more.

I've pushed it to a branch on my private github:

diff --git a/meta/recipes-devtools/file/file_5.28.bb b/meta/recipes-devtools/file/file_5.28.bb

What is an appropriate way to fix this bug?
Comment 1 Phil Wise 2017-03-20 09:17:03 UTC
It appears there is already a patch for this:

Comment 2 Jussi Kukkonen 2017-03-20 09:47:09 UTC
This affects every release in the last two years :(
Comment 3 Ross Burton 2017-03-20 17:31:52 UTC
Fixed in oe-core master adb71e06768adadda7b69c3b5e81ca3ad67237f4 (and krogoth/morty branches).
