Description Darren Hart 2011-05-31 16:21:19 UTC
valgrind's configure step fails with the following:

| checking for a supported OS... ok (linux-gnu)
| checking for the kernel version... unsupported (3.0.0-rc1)

while building on a system with the 3.0.0-rc1 Linux kernel running.
Comment 1 Darren Hart 2011-06-02 15:11:02 UTC
Note: I presume valgrind is meant to be being built for the target system, so the configure should be checking the kernel version of the target (linux-yocto version) not the hosts kernel version.
Comment 2 Darren Hart 2011-06-14 14:28:40 UTC
This needs to be reported upstream (or verified that they know upstream).
