Description Alejandro Hernandez 2017-07-01 01:37:18 UTC
When doing a 64 bit kernel build, the following warning is shown:

---------- CONFIG_X86_BIGSMP -----------------
Config: CONFIG_X86_BIGSMP
From: /home/user/yocto/poky_master/builds/minnowmax/tmp/work-shared/intel-corei7-64/kernel-source/.kernel-meta/configs/standard/intel/cfg/smp.cfg /home/user/yocto/poky_master/builds/minnowmax/tmp/work-shared/intel-corei7-64/kernel-source/.kernel-meta/configs/standard/intel/cfg/smp.cfg /home/user/yocto/poky_master/builds/minnowmax/tmp/work-shared/intel-corei7-64/kernel-source/.kernel-meta/configs/standard/intel/cfg/smp.cfg /home/user/yocto/poky_master/builds/minnowmax/tmp/work-shared/intel-corei7-64/kernel-source/.kernel-meta/configs/standard/intel/cfg/smp.cfg /home/user/yocto/poky_master/builds/minnowmax/tmp/work-shared/intel-corei7-64/kernel-source/.kernel-meta/configs/standard/intel/cfg/smp.cfg
Requested value:  CONFIG_X86_BIGSMP=y
Actual value:

Config 'X86_BIGSMP' has the following conditionals:
  X86_32 && SMP (value: "n")
Dependency values are:
  SMP [y] X86_32 [n]

This is caused because X86_BIGSMP is incompatible with 64 bit builds.

Bruce may have provided a SRCREV_meta update for this on the list, please update genericx86 and verify.
