Description Darren Hart 2011-06-17 15:06:32 UTC
We don't have a generic mechanism to setup sane default audio mixer settings for the BSPs. In meta-intel we use a $MACHINE-audio recipe, but it is duplicated for every BSP, and I just added this for beagleboard in meta-yocto. alsa-state works much like xserver-xf86-config in that it allows you to save a mixer state config per BSP and install that on the resulting image. This would allow for the removal of all the $MACHINE-audio recipes and provide a single recipe for all future BSPs.

Shall we bump this to post 1.1?
