With the recent rework in master if you change bblayers.conf to have a bad line continuation (e.g. a comment that ends in \ with a blank line after it) then you get back a rather ugly error message with lines that should be separated out crunched together.

I can't reproduce this. Maybe fixed?

Not fixed but I've sent out a patch for it
