Description Paul Eggleton 2017-08-17 02:34:11 UTC
oe-pkgdata-util doesn't handle when a specified package is an RPROVIDES from another package. For example:

----- snip -----
$ oe-pkgdata-util list-pkg-files python3
python3:
ERROR: Unable to find any built recipe-space package named python3
----- snip -----

We probably want to print a note that says the specified package is RPROVIDEd by the provider package and then treat it as if the provider package had been specified.
Comment 1 Paul Eggleton 2017-08-17 02:35:45 UTC
Minor correction - instead of "RPROVIDEd by the provider package" I should have said "is in another package's RPROVIDES" so that we repeat the actual variable name verbatim.
