Download pTest image from autobuilder( you can find core-image-sato-sdk image in pTest directory) * we test it on NUC with genericx86-64 2. Install the image on DUT (using legacy boot) 3) Configure the network so it be able to work externally: - Export the proxy using "export http_proxy=<add your proxy link>" command eg $ export http_proxy=http://proxy-chain.intel.com:911 And check if you have internet connection, typing on terminal: $ wget www.google.com 4. In command line type $ ptest-runner > ptest.log and wait for it to finish ( about 5 hours) Note: The "script" is already placed on the distro, you just have to type ptest...TAB and the terminal should autocomplete the command. "> ptest.log", in order to save the test results in that file. teste result https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Ptest_60402978fe3648bf560b3386c6e9dd661cdf2083 full log in attachment
Can you run the tests manually, i.e. # ptest-runner flex # ptest-runner gzip # ptest-runner slang
I checked the image manifest,https://autobuilder.yocto.io/pub/releases/yocto-2.2.2.rc2/machines/genericx86-64/core-image-sato-sdk-ptest-genericx86-64.manifest and indeed the corresponding xxx-ptest are missing.
seems 2.2 did not contain ptests for gzip and slang. However, flex recipe (flex_2.6.0.bb) has code for ptest. So this one should be present.
checking the manifest files for 2.2.1: http://downloads.yoctoproject.org/releases/yocto/yocto-2.2.1/machines/genericx86-64/core-image-sato-sdk-ptest-genericx86-64.manifest and 2.2: http://downloads.yoctoproject.org/releases/yocto/yocto-2.2/machines/genericx86-64/core-image-sato-sdk-ptest-genericx86-64.manifest I see there is no flex-ptest present either. So although still technically a bug, it is not a regression.
Although technically still a bug, flex-ptest was not present in previous versions of 2.2 and 2.2.1 either. So while the test is still missing in 2.2.2 this is not a regression. Hence I am closing this as RESOLVED/WONTFIX. If needed, this issue can be re-opened.
