Description Joshua Lock 2017-09-19 10:17:03 UTC
We have seen several issues over the 2.4 cycle where environment variables exported and used by the yocto-autobuilder have polluted the build environment[1][2].

Our build environment should be as pristine as possible to prevent adverse effects on the build system, therefore we should make a concerted effort to further reduce the amount of environment variables we export on the workers.

Resolved by the new infrastructure architecture of helper scripts (yocto-autobuilder-helper) with a more recent buildbot with minimal configuration (yocto-autobuilder2).
