Have a furhter look at /usr/bin/package-manager, and found the reason is that: non of the supported package manager (yast, zlm, kpackagekit, gnome-packagekit) are installed. so the the 'Install/Remove Software' icon exit with error info. To fix it, we need to select one package manager GUI, and revise the /usr/bin/package-manager accordingly. so transfer it to Mark
