gstreamer-1.0's log.do_compile

During SWAT we observed gstreamer1.0-1.12.4-r0 do_compile failing on nightly-qa-extras. The last few lines of the log (full log attached) are:

/bin/sh: relocation error: /home/pokybuild/yocto-autobuilder/yocto-worker/nightly-qa-extras/build/build/tmp/work/core2-64-poky-linux/gstreamer1.0/1.12.4-r0/recipe-sysroot//lib/libc.so.6: symbol __tunable_get_val, version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in file ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 with link time reference
| If the above error message is about missing .so libraries, then setting up GIR_EXTRA_LIBS_PATH in the recipe should help.
