Description Lukasz Majewski 2018-03-21 04:55:41 UTC
Dear All,

I've encountered following problem with using "devtool add":

devtool add foo ssh://git@XXX:2222/dir/foo-repository.git

The error output:
ERROR: Fetcher failure: Fetch command export DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS="unix:abstract=/tmp/dbus-dDvY4fEEnc"; export SSH_AUTH_SOCK="/home/user/.byobu/.ssh-agent"; export GIT_SSL_CAINFO="/home/user/ecs_sdk/buildtools/sysroots/x86_64-pokysdk-linux/etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt"; export PATH="/home/user/ecs_sdk/tmp/sysroots-uninative/x86_64-linux/usr/bin:/home/user/ecs_sdk/layers/poky/scripts:/home/user/ecs_sdk/tmp/work/recipetool-of2xoznp/work/recipe-sysroot-native/usr/bin/arm-poky-linux-gnueabi:/home/user/ecs_sdk/tmp/work/recipetool-of2xoznp/work/recipe-sysroot/usr/bin/crossscripts:/home/user/ecs_sdk/tmp/work/recipetool-of2xoznp/work/recipe-sysroot-native/usr/sbin:/home/user/ecs_sdk/tmp/work/recipetool-of2xoznp/work/recipe-sysroot-native/usr/bin:/home/user/ecs_sdk/tmp/work/recipetool-of2xoznp/work/recipe-sysroot-native/sbin:/home/user/ecs_sdk/tmp/work/recipetool-of2xoznp/work/recipe-sysroot-native/bin:/home/user/ecs_sdk/layers/poky/bitbake/bin:/home/user/ecs_sdk/tmp/hosttools"; export HOME="/home/user"; git -c core.fsyncobjectfiles=0 ls-remote ssh://git@XXX/2222/dir/foo-repository.git failed with exit code 128, output:
Repository not found
The requested repository does not exist, or you do not have permission to access it.
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

It is strange, since with "normal" bitbake processing of recipes such syntax is supported.

Workaround for devtool add:

extend local .ssh/config
Host CCC
     Hostname XXX
     User git
     Port 2222
     PreferredAuthentications publickey
     IdentityFile ~/.ssh/foo_repo_git

And then:
devtool add foo ssh://CCC/dir/foo-repository.git;branch=master

It works then.

Best regards,
Łukasz
