Description Chen Qi 2018-04-26 03:11:37 UTC
How to reproduce:
1. Add in local.conf
MACHINE = "qemumips64"
require conf/multilib.conf
MULTILIBS = "multilib:libn32"
DEFAULTTUNE_virtclass-multilib-libn32 = " mip64-n32"
MULTILIB_GLOBAL_VARIANTS_append = " libn32"
INHERIT += "testsdk"

2. bitbake core-image-minimal -c populate_sdk
3. bitbake core-image-minimal -c testsdk

The problem is that in the generated SDK, the cross compiler (CC and CXX) cannot work correctly.
Error message is like below:
.../libm.so: error adding symbols: File in wrong format
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

Bulk move from 4.99 or 0.00 to 5.99
Comment 2 Randy MacLeod 2026-01-29 16:12:44 UTC
MIPS is obsolete / tier-three.
