Description pravin 2018-06-14 04:23:33 UTC
I am trying to launch qemu.
following are the steps

1)take poky clone
2)cd poky and checkout with commit id
3)source oe-init-build-env
4)bitbake meta-ide-support( build for any architecture )
5)download the kernel and rootfs from following link
  https://autobuilder.yocto.io/pub/releases/yocto-2.3.4.rc1/machines/qemu/

7)runqemu-extract-sdk image.tar.bz2 rootfs/
8)runqemu bzImage-qemux86.bin nfs rootfs core-image-sato-sdk-qemux86.qemuboot.conf

after this command following logs are comming

runqemu - INFO - Can't find required *.qemuboot.conf in /home/shashwat/pravin/bsp_qemu/re_2.3/x86/files
runqemu - INFO - Assuming /home/shashwat/pravin/bsp_qemu/re_2.3/x86/files is an nfs rootfs
runqemu - INFO - Running bitbake -e...
runqemu - INFO - CONFFILE: /home/shashwat/pravin/bsp_qemu/re_2.3/x86/core-image-sato-sdk-qemux86.qemuboot.conf
runqemu - INFO - Setting DEPLOY_DIR_IMAGE to folder containing /home/shashwat/pravin/bsp_qemu/re_2.3/x86/core-image-sato-sdk-qemux86.qemuboot.conf (/home/shashwat/pravin/bsp_qemu/re_2.3/x86)
runqemu - INFO - Overriding conf file setting of STAGING_DIR_NATIVE to /home/shashwat/pravin/bsp_qemu/re_2.3/poky/build/tmp/work/i586-poky-linux/defaultpkgname/1.0-r0/recipe-sysroot-native from Bitbake environment
runqemu - INFO - Continuing with the following parameters:

KERNEL: [/home/shashwat/pravin/bsp_qemu/re_2.3/x86/bzImage-qemux86.bin]
MACHINE: [qemux86]
FSTYPE: [nfs]
NFS_DIR: [/home/shashwat/pravin/bsp_qemu/re_2.3/x86/files]
CONFFILE: [/home/shashwat/pravin/bsp_qemu/re_2.3/x86/core-image-sato-sdk-qemux86.qemuboot.conf]

/bin/sh: 1: stty: not found
runqemu - ERROR - In order for this script to dynamically infer paths
kernels or filesystem images, you either need bitbake in your PATH
or to source oe-init-build-env before running this script.

Dynamic path inference can be avoided by passing a *.qemuboot.conf to
 runqemu, i.e. `runqemu /path/to/my-image-name.qemuboot.conf`

runqemu-ifup, runqemu-ifdown or ip not found
