With 1.1 M2 branch, after launching hob, we could add new layer, for example, meta-intel/sugarbay. But the new machine type won't show up in "Machine" field. We have to exit hob and restart it to make it shown up.

Reopen the bug.
Seems currently the only way to make layer shown up without restart hob is to click "close" button after adding layer in Edit->Layers. But if we does not click "close" button or add layer via File->Add Layer, the issue still exists.

I'd misread the initial bug report, apologies for that. A reparse was not being triggered after adding a new layer using the 'Add Layer' menu entry.

Patch out soon.

Verify the bug as fixed with commit 6503452732beadb117c6b0633070801d47f5f109.
