If I try to build a 4.19 kernel with current thud branch, the build fails:

| x86_64-poky-linux-ld.bfd: arch/x86/entry/vdso/vma.o: unable to initialize decompress status for section .debug_info

Turns out this is a binutils bug and fixed with these commits:
