Description Muhammad Ihfazhillah 2019-02-10 15:00:37 UTC
when starting a new toaster web server and using postgres as database, the app complains about long of chars. The max_length is 200.

Muhammad, can you share your steps in setting up and connecting a postgres server?

That would help me a great deal. I want to make sure that I am replicating your setup as close as possible, plus spend my time on the fix rather than experimenting with the setup. As a bonus, I can then formally publish these steps so that others can use them.

I have only our setup instructions for MySQL. We have a workaround for relaxing the character limits for MySQL, so I will see about adapting that to postgres.

I have a system running on Postgres that should resolve this issue.
