Description tf 2019-02-25 15:33:06 UTC
Recent gnome-terminal (using 3.30.2) no longer starts for tasks such as devshell or menuconfig. The deprecated commandline option -x (in meta/lib/oe/terminal.py) seems at fault, replacing this with '--' fixes that, for me at least. The -x option has been deprecated for quite a long time, so it should be safe to switch this without having to do version checks on the terminal.

Fix is in oe-core at http://cgit.openembedded.org/openembedded-core/commit/?id=d5fd205239c8e3a1d68649562a7e91c8fbbc805e. The "-x" option has been changed to "--" to ensure a new window opens.
