libxml-parser-perl is generating different ptest results between the core-image-sato and core-image-sato-sdk images. Specifically: core-image-sato: https://autobuilder.yocto.io/pub/non-release/20190417-10/testresults/qemux86-64-ptest/testresults.json Recipe | Passed | Failed | Skipped | libxml-parser-perl | 0 | 15 | 0 | core-image-sato-sdk: https://autobuilder.yocto.io/pub/non-release/20190417-14/testresults/qemux86-64-ptest/testresults.json Recipe | Passed | Failed | Skipped | libxml-parser-perl | 15 | 0 | 0 |

It appears that libxml-parser-perl-ptest package does not have libxml-parser-perl in RDEPENDS (XML/Parser.pm missing).
The solution is probably to add ${PN} to RDEPENDS in the ptest-perl.bbclass: http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky/tree/meta/classes/ptest-perl.bbclass#n18
In a minimal image, all tests still fail, likely due to missing perl module dependencies.
A number of dependencies for libxml-parser-perl (in particular for Test::Builder and Test2::API) were missing in perl-rdepends.txt. Possibly fixed with: https://patchwork.openembedded.org/series/17926/ This did not attempt to address the missing XML/Parser.pm however, as it did not show up as a problem with core-image-minimal or core-image-full-cmdline.
Is this because the perl modules do not BBCLASSEXTEND nativesdk?
(In reply to comment #7) > Is this because the perl modules do not BBCLASSEXTEND nativesdk? No, I believe this issue was fixed by the perl module dependency fixes (and the missing ${PN} dependency fix before that).
