The two links from https://www.yoctoproject.org/software-item/toaster/ to the toaster manual all refer to the manual for the 1.8 version. The latest released version is 2.7. There is a special URL for the "latest" version, perhaps a "current" version could be useful as a target for links in the webpage?

thanks for spotting it. It's indeed hardcoded in the website directly, I will have a look and fix.
it's fixed. i replaced the links on the webpage to point to https://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/current/toaster-manual/toaster-manual.html. Which should be always up-to-date documentation.
