Hello,

We are facing build issue when using kernel recipe from
build issue found in Kernel Recipe git://github.com/intel/linux-intel-lts.git;protocol=https;name=machine;branch=warrior.

Please explain what you're building, how, and what the failures are.

Hi,

The build issue is faced in kernel Intel Mainline production tracking V5.1
I am building yocto bsp image with following layers.

1. Poky (Warrior branch): Yocto Project v2.7 (http://downloads.yoctoproject.org/releases/yocto/yocto-2.7/poky-warrior-21.0.0.tar.bz2)
2. meta-intel (warrior branch): meta-intel-11.0-warrior-2.7 (http://downloads.yoctoproject.org/releases/yocto/yocto-2.7/meta-intel-11.0-warrior-2.7.tar.bz2)
3. The recipe file from meta-intel../ linux-intel-dev.bb already support Intel Production Mainline Tracking v5.1
- After adding meta-intel layer, started building yocto project using bitbake command. After intimidate execution stop with following errors.

4. From above error it's clear that bitbake failed to fetch specified commit from git://github.com/intel/mainline-tracking.git;protocol=https;ng-v5.1-base-190507T222411Z. But If I clone manually then able to fetch same commit.

Workaround:

 I have modified the SRC_URI to fetch from nobranch and it works.

 SRC_URI=git://github.com/intel/mainline-tracking.git;protocol=https;name=machine;nobranch=1;  --> // Added nobranch=1

This has been fixed in meta-intel master/warrior.
