Description Armin Kuster 2019-11-26 21:09:08 UTC
if the word 'archive' is in the SRC_URI and not related to a github repo, it flags a warning.

ie : https://releases.linaro.org/archive/13.11/components/toolchain/binaries/gcc-linaro-aarch64-none-elf-4.8-2013.11_linux.tar.xz

plus git://github.com/hardkernel/u-boot.git

all in the same SRC_URI.

WARNING: u-boot-hardkernel-2015.01-2015.01+gitAUTOINC+a374ff3513 do_package_qa: QA Issue: git://github.com/hardkernel/u-boot.git;branch=odroidn2-v2015.01 https://releases.linaro.org/archive/13.11/components/toolchain/binaries/gcc-linaro-aarch64-none-elf-4.8-2013.11_linux.tar.xz;name=aarch64linaro;subdir=git https://releases.linaro.org/archive/14.04/components/toolchain/binaries/gcc-linaro-arm-none-eabi-4.8-2014.04_linux.tar.xz;name=aarch64linaroelf;subdir=git : SRC_URI uses unstable GitHub archives [src-uri-bad]

no its not other layers.

it is the sanity checker.
Comment 2 Ross Burton 2019-11-26 23:04:20 UTC
Right yes, sorry didn't read.

Need to split the URL into items before looking for matches.
