To reproduce:
Empty lines are just new lines, no spaces or tabs.
---- Example file example.bb
# This is a comment \



and this is a comment too even though it doesn't look like.

I'm not sure this is a duplicate, this bug is about the fact that the blank lines aren't treated as the continuation of the multiline comment...
