When using these options in conf/local.conf

and added meta-gplv2 as seen above, bitbake core-image-full-cmdline fails with:

First patchset was discussed on oe-core mailing list, but was not considered 
to be the right approach

My suggestion would be to have a -lic package for every package, not one -lic package for a recipe.
