We didn't used to have live images for qemu at all. Is this now a concern?
Or is this possibly an artifact of eliminating the live image type?
It is because the grub 0.97 in oe-core doesn't support x86-64 target. Maybe for x86_64 taret, the initramfs-live-install should grub2 which is not in the oe-core yet.
We've discussed moving the grub 2 recipe from meta-intel to oe-core. I have no objection.

Removed the x86_64 from COMPATIBLE_LIST for initramfs-live-install to be consistent with grub 0.97. Darren proposed a plan to move grub2 and corresponding initramfs-live-install which support x86-64 target from meta-intel to oecore.
oe-core commit dc3a8274c7e935fa564eea142d2535c9bcf2b272 for YOCTO #1428 broke meta-intel x86_64 builds: NOTE: Resolving any missing task queue dependencies ERROR: Nothing RPROVIDES 'initramfs-live-install' (but /usr/local/src/yocto/sugarbay/meta/recipes-core/images/core-image-minimal-initramfs.bb RDEPENDS on or otherwise requires it) ERROR: initramfs-live-install was skipped: incompatible with host x86_64-poky-linux A patchset to restore the build has been sent out for review. Build and install-tested on sugarbay and crownbay.
