If you look at https://lists.yoctoproject.org/g/docs/topics, you will send that two messages, that according to Nicolas Dechesne and Quentin Schulz are on the same thread, are considered as two different topics: [PATCH 0/1] YP overview manual: style improvements https://lists.yoctoproject.org/g/docs/topic/patch_0_1_yp_overview/81724646?p=,,,20,0,0,0::recentpostdate%2Fsticky,,,20,2,0,81724646 [PATCH 1/1] YP overview manual: style improvements https://lists.yoctoproject.org/g/docs/topic/patch_1_1_yp_overview/81724648?p=,,,20,0,0,0::recentpostdate%2Fsticky,,,20,2,0,81724648 Not critical, but people could miss some messages if they don't realize the two topics are indeed the same. I hope this can be fixed in the configuration of Groups.io, in the way topics are figured out (based on which mail header is used). Thanks in advance Michael.

There is no way for the listserv to thread email with different subjects together as far as I know. Can you describe the desired display in more detail?
If that's not possible to group messages with a different subject using Groups.io, then forget it. I was hoping to group together the messages with a "References" header referring to the same original "Message-Id". You seem to have this not on https://lkml.org, but on https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/ Anyway, we can continue to live with this!
According to https://groups.io/helpcenter/membersmanual/1/additional-information/understanding-how-group-messages-are-threaded-into Groups.io requires the subject line to match except for certain exceptions like "Re: ". Please reopen this bug if you'd like me to file a feature request with Groups.io to ignore Subject when threading.
Hi Michael Thanks for the research. Let's give up, if Groups.io doesn't support this. Thanks again
