Description Ross Burton 2021-08-16 09:51:21 UTC
Since http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/poky/commit/?id=5cde141ef1e037aa540963f8356c0c556b47964d buildhistory hasn't been recording the FILELIST correctly.

Current master/hardknott:

$ grep FILELIST buildhistory/packages/all-poky-linux/hicolor-icon-theme/hicolor-icon-theme/latest
FILELIST = /usr/share/icons/hicolor/index.theme

$ grep FILELIST buildhistory/packages/all-poky-linux/hicolor-icon-theme/hicolor-icon-theme-dev/latest
FILELIST = /usr/share/icons/hicolor/index.theme

Reverting that commit restores the correct behaviour, where hicolor-icon-theme-dev has an empty FILELIST.

The problem is that commit changes the lookup to load all subpackage data into a single datastore, so FILELIST gets overwritten.

That commit does fix this issue according to Ross.

Yes, it was.
