Description Ahmed Hossam 2021-09-14 17:07:44 UTC
Current documentation still refer to the Freenode #yocto channel.
Comment 1 Michael Opdenacker 2021-09-14 19:11:36 UTC
Hi Ahmed

Good catch. Many thanks for reporting this.
A patch was proposed and should be merged soon:

More issue reports on the docs are more than welcome!
Thanks again,
Michael.

Hi Michael,

You're welcome.

Is the #poky channel still active? it is mentioned in the proposed patch but it is not in https://www.yoctoproject.org/community/mailing-lists/ and the channel looks empty (not a lot of members and the topic is not set).
Comment 3 Michael Opdenacker 2021-09-15 06:51:12 UTC
Right, I was going to ask.
Thanks to a comment from Richard Purdie, I posted an update recommending to use the "#oe" channel instead.
