[Summary] The File Manager PCManFM application are taking a long time to load (approximately 10-15 mins) after clicking them. Other applications like terminal, l3afpad and etc are able to load immediately. Open the File Manager PCManFM application. [Expected] The File Manager PCManFM should open immediately after clicking the icon. [Actual] Mouse cursor turns into loading icon and it takes around 10-15mins to open the application.
[Updates] This issue is not observed in qemux86-64 images.
[Updates] I tested the genericx86-64 image on a Tigerlake NUC and I don't see this issue. I will test it once more on another NUC7 and update.
For reference I wasn't able to reproduce this issue under qemu either
If it happens again, check dmesg, collect top output and if there's a busy task, strace it.
After several attempts, I was not able to reproduce this issue on other NUC7 and NUC11. So I will close this bug for now and will try Randy's suggestions if we see this bug again in the future.
