tree/branch: poky/1.1_M4 commit: 6462c158fc482e495c1171ffc7747e2ad650a292 With latest 1.1 M4 branch, after I build a minimal image with btrfs enabled and boot up the btrfs image, the kernel will report "no valid root filesystem found". It seems btrfs related config options are not enabled for kernel.
Could you please give more information about how you set the flags for the kernel and image type setting? You need to include the following line in your local.conf file: IMAGE_FSTYPES += " btrfs" KERNEL_FEATURES_append = " cfg/btrfs " for some reason += does not work with KERNEL_FEATURES.
Jiajun, Saul said it right, the kernel btrfs config needs to be enabled with KERNEL_FEATURES line in the local.conf. Without that kernel will not include the btrfs support. Thanks, Nitin
