The badge process (which is under review) is currently documented here:

For YP internal layers, perhaps that process is not required?


The marking of layers as YP Compatible 2.0 in the layerindex is done based on PASS of tests in "check-layer" and "check-layer-nightly" Builders on the AutoBuilder.
