When Python3 was upgraded to 3.7.2 the profile-guided-optimisation support was moved to target-specific, which meant the buildtools which were meant to be building PGO'd python binaries no longer did.

Also of note, the PGO support is removed in the provisional python 3.12 upgrade as upstream changed the rules and this can be added back.

This thread leads to interesting thoughts involving "what does MACHINE_FEATURES mean in a nativesdk configuration" which are a bigger problem.
