Description Jack Mitchell 2011-09-28 02:47:10 UTC
When you selected either Yocto Eclipse Plug-in Release 1.0 or FAQ from the yocto documentation page, it opens a new window with the correct page, but also directs the current window to the new page. You therefore end up with two instances of the same page, and have lost the Yocto documentation page.

Possible Solution 1: either open a new window and don't direct yocto documentation page

Possible Solution 2: don't open a new window and just redirect from the yocto documentation page

Browser: Firefox

This is strange behavior that I don't understand. Most of the links in the site that pop a new window work fine within FireFox or IE. These two pointed out in this bug, however, do not. I went through the entire website and tested every link. I found about three or four others that demonstrated the same behavior. I implemented Jack's second option for the fix because I can't figure out how to get the thing to consistently behave correctly. Thanks to Jack Mitchell for finding this odd behavior and filing the bug.
