Description Toni Lammi 2024-02-06 09:51:41 UTC
Fetching s3:// URLs does not work when passing credentials via environment variables if AWS is configured to use temporary AWS credentials.

With temporary credentials the environment variables include AWS_SESSION_TOKEN.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/userguide/cli-configure-envvars.html

This should be easily fixed by adding the variable in
FETCH_EXPORT_VARS in lib/bb/fetch2/__init__.py
https://git.openembedded.org/bitbake/tree/lib/bb/fetch2/__init__.py#n854

My guess is that this affects all bitbake versions.

Can you send a patch to the oe-core/bitbake email list?
