These components are pretty important to the GNOME stack so we should enable their test suite.  However, this is non-trivial.

Neither of the test suites are directly installable, but that's a lesser problem.

g-i should be installing pieces of its test suite so that pygobject can use it. This is wrapped with "is not cross" which needs to be removed, but then the build fails.
