Mark sent a message[1] with a new documentation proposal for the multiconfig feature. The current multiconfig documentation[2] is not really extensive and doesn't give best practices.

This ticket to track this message and its addition to the documentation.

Tasks:

- Format Mark's message in rst syntax.
- Document the BB_CURRENT_MC variable.

Documentation for multiconfig was added with commits 6f60fb09976540dd320816684684c14f6b7ab460, 286db24f37bf16a157d3897a046f1fc0d33a44b4, 8cedef6d5b701235325e6e0bdd793f8c06dfef57, 36fb1e9e5099aa0d858d5478530143e9bac39588 on yocto-docs.

The BB_CURRENT_MC variable was documented with 178e09ea5ea39e60452077fa2ab90b90478ada6e in bitbake.

Closing
