Description Matthew McClintock 2011-10-03 11:04:18 UTC
Configure what services start by default on a built image
Comment 1 Belen Barros Pena 2013-03-01 10:51:05 UTC
This is a perfectly valid feature request, but I wonder if our existing GTK Hob is the tool to deliver it. Hob was conceived with a limited scope: a simple tool to assist new Yocto Project users in the process of running simple builds (the kind of builds you start with).

I think we should consider tackling this on the web interface project.

Marking as needinfo in the meantime.

related to #3252
Comment 3 Cristiana Voicu 2013-04-15 09:11:22 UTC
Due to the fact that there are two init systems available (system V and systemd), things will get a little bit complicated with this one.

Richard, Ross, Paul, can you please advice?

Thanks,
Cristiana

I'd tend to agree with Belen here, this is a non-trivial feature and we'd be better leaving it for Web Hob.
Comment 6 Belen Barros Pena 2014-05-14 16:30:38 UTC
At this point, work will take place on toaster, not hob, so marking as won't fix.
