Current YP missing documentation for KERNEL_SPLIT_MODULES variable. Its usage or default value is not documented anywhere, However, its usage & default value are completely valid.

Running

bitbake-getvar KERNEL_SPLIT_MODULES

results in,

The variable 'KERNEL_SPLIT_MODULES' is not defined
