Description Christos Gavros 2025-03-15 13:21:20 UTC
hi

the variable INITRAMFS_MAXSIZE is not documented in Variable Glossary.

Some info about it:
It is used to specify the maximum allowed size of the initramfs image in bytes.
The build will fail in case the initramfs image size is bigger than the value of this variable.
There is a week default value assignment (INITRAMFS_MAXSIZE ??= "131072" ) in bitbake.conf

Patch merged (commit 07bcdddaf71c76cdec186cf0ddd97a47eec54972 on yocto-docs).

Thanks!

Moving to Resolved Fixed.
