In auto.conf:
OE_FRAGMENTS += "machine/qemux86-64 distro/poky core/yocto/sstate-mirror-cdn"

 $ bitbake-getvar MACHINE

...
# pre-expansion value:

the "<<<<" lines do not tell which fragment, and where it is.

Note: history can be improved for 'built-in' fragments (machine/..., distro/...). The file-based one are fine.
