Description Mathieu Dubois-Briand 2025-09-10 09:59:52 UTC
We have some reproducibility issue since earlier this week, probably after gettext update merge.

f4b240b4d2c4 gettext, gettext-minimal-native: upgrade 0.23.1 -> 0.26

Strangely, this is appearing in the master branch, bud did not happen while the patch was in my branch. Still today, it does not happen with my branch, based on master.

I had a quick look at the recipes, but was not able no find anything wrong.

Comment 2 Randy MacLeod 2025-09-11 14:57:26 UTC
There were some changes in the Makefiles, which are used by ptest.
May no longer be occurring after additional patches merged.

Bug would remain that:
not all the inputs would be captured from the task hashes.

Looks like it's dithering on whether some tools are available, which is interesting.

YPBZ Meeting: Should bugs like this that:
 1. are against 5.3
 2. haven't happened in ~ 6 months be resolved as WFM or
    bumped to 6.1 and dealt with at the >= 12 month mark?
Comment 6 Randy MacLeod 2026-04-23 15:20:23 UTC
Not seen in > 6 months.
