This patch was not imported in patchwork: [meta][whinlatter][PATCH 02/02] linux-yocto/6.12: update CVE exclusions (6.12.69) https://lists.openembedded.org/g/openembedded-core/message/230845 Where 01/02 was: [meta][whinlatter][PATCH 01/02] linux-yocto/6.12: update to v6.12.69 https://lists.openembedded.org/g/openembedded-core/message/230844 => 02/02 should appear there: https://patchwork.yoctoproject.org/project/oe-core/list/?series=43181 but does not. Might be because it's simply too big: The mail is >18k lines and >800kB!
Also, patch is missing from lore :https://lore.kernel.org/openembedded-core/20260210031722.1347242-1-bruce.ashfield@gmail.com/T/#r5ed570635949ed111e45209ab08b172bae64853e [not found] ` <20260210031722.1347242-2-bruce.ashfield@gmail.com> [not found] ` <DGBF2GNFHVXG.3KR6P4IC62SJI@smile.fr> [not found] ` <CADkTA4NHCS2jw=b-2LjNvdipC_O7eDX_hOA6DGcjwhx09DkOGQ@mail.gmail.com> 2026-02-10 16:52 ` [OE-core] [meta][whinlatter][PATCH 02/02] linux-yocto/6.12: update CVE exclusions (6.12.69) Yoann Congal
Patchwork is fed by Lore, so if these patches are not visible in lore then that explains it in a sense. The question is why some patches are missing in lore but are visible in groups.io. CCing the lovely fellows in LF IT for their input.
The same (big) patch is also missing from my patch review request series. Notice how 02/19 is missing: https://lore.kernel.org/openembedded-core/cover.1770968514.git.yoann.congal@smile.fr/T/#t https://patchwork.yoctoproject.org/project/oe-core/list/?series=43312&state=%2A&archive=both But, it is present on groups.io: [whinlatter 02/19] linux-yocto/6.12: update CVE exclusions (6.12.69) https://lists.openembedded.org/g/openembedded-core/message/231088 (albeit out of order: it appears after 05/19) My git-send-email logs: Server: smtp.gmail.com MAIL FROM:<yoann.congal@smile.fr> RCPT TO:<openembedded-core@lists.openembedded.org> From: Yoann Congal <yoann.congal@smile.fr> To: openembedded-core@lists.openembedded.org Subject: [OE-core][whinlatter 02/19] linux-yocto/6.12: update CVE exclusions (6.12.69) Date: Fri, 13 Feb 2026 09:08:20 +0100 Message-ID: <a8d42fa342b9ddcf30065d0f6d93810997fb5ddc.1770968514.git.yoann.congal@smile.fr> X-Mailer: git-send-email 2.47.3 In-Reply-To: <cover.1770968514.git.yoann.congal@smile.fr> References: <cover.1770968514.git.yoann.congal@smile.fr> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Résultat : 250 # SMTP 250 = "Requested mail action okay, completed" (same as all the other patches of this series)
Our best guess is the webhook that feeds Lore from Groups.io timed out causing the message to be dropped. We've relayed this information and there isn't more we can do until the problem repeats.
It happened again. I received this mail from Joao Marcos Costa in my mailbox: [scarthgap][PATCH 2/2] linux-yocto/6.6: update CVE exclusions (6.6.123) Message-Id: <20260403094106.819783-2-joaomarcos.costa@bootlin.com> Groups.io got it: https://lists.openembedded.org/g/openembedded-core/message/234576 but lore (and, by consequent patchwork) did not: https://lore.kernel.org/all/20260403094106.819783-2-joaomarcos.costa@bootlin.com/ => Message-ID <20260403094106.819783-2-joaomarcos.costa@bootlin.com> not found Patch 1/2 does not mention a 2/2 in the thread: https://lore.kernel.org/all/20260403094106.819783-1-joaomarcos.costa@bootlin.com/ Note: This is the same generated file, and the patch is also, quite big: .../linux/cve-exclusion_6.6.inc | 21144 +++++++++++++---
https://lore.kernel.org/openembedded-core/cover.1777064068.git.yoann.congal@smile.fr/T/#t => missing patch 41/66 "[OE-core][scarthgap 41/66] linux-yocto/6.6: update CVE exclusions (6.6.123)"
No troubles with this patch: [scarthgap] linux-yocto/6.6: update CVE exclusions (6.6.142) - Patchwork https://patchwork.yoctoproject.org/project/oe-core/patch/20260707181619.3428508-1-esa.jaaskela@suomi24.fi/ Closing, thanks Michael!
