Description Austinxxh-Linux 2011-10-28 10:16:50 UTC
for both Yocto 1.0 and 1.1, after I run "runqemu qemux86" and launched sato, I could not type in English (tried both contact and todo-list application), this appears in both releases.

Can you provide some more information, since this is something that we regularly test. Are you running the images from the web or did you build the images locally.

Can you give us more info about the system system you are running the images on?

I built it locally on my ubuntu 10.04 64bit successfully. I guess it has something to do with OE's locale settings. I also run the sato image directly from the building machine.

So is the problem still happening on your 10.04 system? do you have any locale settings or are they the default? How about in your environment what is your default LOCALE?

Austin, Any updates on this? If this is still happening, please send me a dump of your environment variables. If I do not hear from you soon, I will close as not reproducible.
