This is against edison with a few local fixes... posting here to see if the issue is obvious or a fix exists.

What is "do_populate_sysroot_post"? Is this something custom you've added as I'm not familiar with it?

I've not seen this error before FWIW.

Matthew, it seems your trace log is not very clear/questionable, can you double check whether your have a local dtc layer that may introduce some issue? thx

The log makes no sense either (there is a clean running with a very high task number and a task that doesn't exist is mentioned).

I can't reproduce this. Can you give some hints on how to make this error occur? I'm going to close as unreproducible, please reopen if there is more info.

I think this was an automated build that was unreproducible for even me. Feel free to close it, I will revisit it if I see it again.
