Intel released version 1.10 of the EMGD driver package not long ago.

I'll take this one. My plan for this however has a couple dependencies, the first is that I need to implement bug 1630, in order to be able to release a version of the emgd recipe that "automatically downloads and installs
EMGD using the new click-through-free tarball" similar to the version in the link below, but without the package-specific license COMMERCIAL_LICENSE variant:

https://lists.yoctoproject.org/pipermail/yocto/2011-August/004650.html

The other is that the work will be done against the linux-yocto-dev kernel which means moving the crownbay BSP to the 3.2 kernel as well.

I'll be doing the kernel work first and will only do the packaging when the work for bug 1630 is done and will then officially submit the new recipe then. Since the 1630 will likely come at the end of M2, the new emgd recipe probably won't officially come online until the beginning of M3 or so. But once the kernel work is done and I have a functional emgd 1.10, I'll update this bug report and make the kernel work available to anyone who wants to try it at that point.

I've implemented and posted this for review. I also posted the LICENSE_FLAGS patchset and the kernel patchset that this depends on to oe-core. When those are pulled in, we can then pull this in.

Note that the version I posted was for 3.0, so people could start using it now. I also have a 3.2 version but that's untested - I'll upgrade and test when we've settled on a kernel version for 1.2.
