tree/branch: poky/1.2_M1
commit: b806f726b1db2cb605869c1022ef727c1110255b

I tested x32 build with 1.2 M1 branch. It failed during gcc-cross-intermediate do_install. Detailed log as below:

Detailed log could be found as attachment.

Jiajun,
  I think you are missing this line in your local.conf

baselib = "${@d.getVar('BASE_LIB_tune-' + (d.getVar('DEFAULTTUNE', True) or 'INVALID'), True) or 'lib'}"
Comment 2 Jiajun Xu 2011-12-21 00:09:51 UTC
Thanks, Nitin. It could pass gcc-cross-intermediate build now. But it fails when do_configure for openssl.
I attach the log file for your reference.

I set following options in local.conf:
#######
MACHINE ?= "qemux86-64"
DEFAULTTUNE = "x86-64-x32"
baselib = "${@d.getVar('BASE_LIB_tune-' + (d.getVar('DEFAULTTUNE', True) or 'INVALID'), True) or 'lib'}"
#######

Comment 4 Nitin Kamble 2011-12-21 09:20:40 UTC
Jiajun,
  I think you do not have latest fixes for openssl in your poky branch. I see your version is : openssl-1.0.0e-r15.0 and the latest with all x32 fixes what I have is openssl-1.0.0e-r15.2
  so please update your poky master branch to get all the x32 fixes.

Thanks,
Nitin

Hi Jiajun,
 you should not change the summary of the bug like this. If you want to report another issue then you should open another bug, and leave the old bug for the older issue.

Thanks,
Nitin

Thanks, Nitin.
I am testing 1.2_M1 branch. I will change to master then.

Mark the bug as INVALID since it is used for gcc-cross.
