To make licensing a bit easier for the end user, I would like to see yocto spit out a "Here is what is in your images and here is your responsibilities under GPL-x.x". This should take into account that src on images is configurable (or should be) and that different licenses have different requirements.

Goal: Cover L/GPL-x.x requirements
Nice to have: All OSI requirements

Patrick Ohly did some great work on a "supported-recipes-report". I will work on making this available.

Partly covered by moving to SBOM files and improved recipe licenses tags.

We could add a post-image summary of the licenses of package that contributed to the image and non-legal advice the users obligations.
